I started “Be Right-Minded™” for the purpose of helping myself focus. It is a reminder to live the life you want to live, which requires thinking about and focusing on the things that bring you joy. Joy can’t come at the expense of someone else and joy isn’t found through comparison, where one feels joyful because someone else has it worse-off than them.
To “Be Right-Minded™” also means recognizing when you’re off-track and correcting yourself. Being off-track means you’re focusing on something you don’t want – such as engaging in mental arguments, worrisome imaginings or when you get triggered and find yourself feeling upset. When you are right-minded, you are not conflicted or experiencing conflict – you feel sure and peaceful. Having a peaceful mind allows you to experience joy and express love. Being right-minded is living the life you want and the one you deserve to give yourself.
To have the life you want, you need to focus on things that bring you joy. The saying “you reap what you sow” bears testimony to this idea and doesn’t have to be taken in a negative sense. If you focus on what you want, you will reap the benefits of sowing those thoughts, which is a life of joy.
