People have been unwilling to be as they are for fear of rejection or in hopes that the acceptance of others will allow them to accept themselves.  If you change who you are to meet someone else’s standard, you will never accept yourself because you rejected yourself to gain that approval.  Deny the unwillingness to be as you are.  Reject all other opinions but your own in who you are meant to be.  Only by doing this can you love yourself, which you a denial your self-betrayal.
